It's almost time! Create an account today for the free online, instructor led, Basic Map and Compass 101 course. The six week course will begin 12/15/07. It's going to be a fun time improving your navigation skills!

To make the process of accessing the GPS trails easier, those downloading the free content will no longer be required to register as a member.Visitors may optionally sign up to be notified of news and trail additions. Those who are already registered as a member have been included in the mailing list. If you do not wish to receive the mailings follow the instructions at the bottom of the message to be removed.

Three more trails from the Rocky Mountain National Park / Estes Park, CO area were added.

Vail (Glacier Gorge) Trail
North Longs Peak trail
East Long Peaks Trail. What a hike this one would be! Wow! If you take a look at the trail on a topo you see quite the hike, with a mountain peak view for the reward. Very nice.

Nine GPS tracks were added to the Maricopa Mountain area of AZ. These files were sent in by Tom H. Thanks, Tom!

At the request of Dennis D. 46 miles of Mickelson Trail, SD were added to the collection. Thanks, Dennis! More Mickelson Trail to come.

Feel free to request an addition to the collection.

I have added icons in the note section of the trail download pages to indicate the source and method of aquisition for the trail files. Click on any icon for an explination.

A new trail list has been posted at www.gpstrails.net with files through 22:00 CDT on 06COT07.

The web site login is fixed and GPS Trails members have their own web site!You can now login with the email address and password you signed up with.Click one of the member's webs site links on the www.gpstrails.net web site, or go directly to www.gpstrailsonline.com . Either way will work fine.Now the big question is: What's next? I plan to focus on adding new files! So, if you have a favorite or future hike that you would like to see added please contact me. We continue to experience problems with the login system after the move. I have created a temporary system to use until we get the bugs worked out of our primary login code.
