This comic was done in Prismacolor colored pencils on 4.5x10 illustration board. Honestly this is overall has been my favorite way to draw a reeder yet! i hope everyone likes it. throw me out your thoughts at the Rabbit Hole (forums) or on the comment box at the site. See you next week!

You may or may not know that I've gone back to school for Art. I've spent too many years afraid to develop any skill i had when i was younger because i was scared i wouldn't find a job in art... Anyway, i digress... My goal is to become a better illustrator! I want to concentrate more on facial expressions & overall presentation... which means for the next few months their will be inconsistencies in my work.

I spent a lot of time with illustrator and photoshop but i found i was spending more time working colors and "smoothing" out images.. not the way that i draw, which at this moment is more important.

blahblahblah, expect to see reeder in different mediums, styles, etc.

I posted early to make up for last week! I know its after Easter now, but i came up with the joke and took the photographs before Easter.. so i fell like I'm well with in the statute of limitations by my reasoning.

I'm really sorry about this weeks comic being so late, i got back late from a trip with my girlfriend last night. We went to San Francisco and check out an art gallery called <a href="http://www.nineteeneightyeight.com/">Gallery 1988</a>. The featured artist was Kathie Olivas, i really enjoyed her art! If anyone is in that area definitely check her exhibition out. Also <a href="http://www.creaturesinmyhead.com/">Andrew Bell</a> is the artist up in LA, i'll be checkin' that out this weekend as well.

It's ironic to me that while i learn a technique to make my life easier so that i can draw these comics faster, at the same time it's the very thing that is making it harder for me to do! For the most part Illustrator made this comic 10 times easier to draw... but certain things are taking me longer. For instance, the shading and box outlines interfere with stuff. Oh well... All the same, each week I feel that the comics are looking better. Thats what really matters!

This weeks comic is my first done almost completely in Adobe Illustrator! I'm really happy about it. Anyway, I know it's a bit early but I'm gonna be busy on Thursday.

Either way i thought I'd take this opportunity to apologize for the mishaps earlier this year. I must admit that the Great Router Explosion of 2008 was my fault! A week or so ago i was having problems with my router and had to get a new one and this really happened... it was rather tragic... sorry world.

To me its funny how much people love Macs, I'm greatly indifferent to Macs and PC's.. but i thought i'd just make a comment about the Mac Book Air. IT'S SOOOO SMALL!! I actually really like the size but i don't see the point of them because of the fact that they don't have CD players and such... Anyway, hope you enjoy the 'godly' power of Wacbooks! :D

Quest for Love

Any one who knows me in real life knows that right now i've been playing WoW... and i've been playing it ALOT! (if anyone plays on Shadowmoon hit me up! My character name is Eydis) Anyway, i thought it would be funny to do this comic because i didnt spend valentines day with my girlfriend due to the conflicts in our schedules. Anyway, i'll try to play WoW a little less and work on more Reeders so they are on time! haha
